The Nature of Legends
Legends are protagonists. They were once gods, heroes, monsters, faeries, witches, or other creatures from myth, tall tales, or stories. While most legends eat and drink like mundane folk, what they really thrive on is Glamour… dreams, whimsy, faith, and other such things. When mundane folk cease to dream or believe in Legends, they die. Banality is like death to legends. If they surround themselves for too long in the mundane, they begin to wither and die. As such, Legends constantly seek out adventure and excitement. They also seek to inspire mundanes in order to generate more Glamour in the waning world.
